Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. This statement (German: Barrierefreiheitserklärung) explains how accessible the site is and how to reach us if you run into a barrier.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at levelAA — the recognised international standard for accessible websites. We build and review the site with that standard in mind.
Known limitations
We believe the site meets WCAG 2.2 level AA. A couple of things to keep in mind:
- Material added after launch — images, embedded video or maps, or PDF documents — can fall short (for example a missing text description or captions). We check new content against the standard as it is built, and fix what we find.
- If you hit a barrier we haven't caught, please tell us (below) — we treat it as a bug to fix.
Report a barrier
If you find a barrier on this site, or need something here in a different format, please tell us. We will help, and we will fix what we can. Email info@meichalet-dasbarbara.at or use our contact form. This website is operated by Annabelle Fischer, mei chalet - DAS BARBARA. We aim to reply within a few working days.
Online booking and the Accessibility Act
This website is informational and currently offers no online booking and no online ordering. Should such consumer transactions be added in the future, the formal requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, BaFG) must be reviewed, in particular a statement on the compliance status as well as feedback and enforcement information. Microenterprises with fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover of at most 2 million euros are exempt.
About this statement
This statement was last reviewed on 15 July 2026, based on our own assessment of the site against WCAG 2.2 level AA.
